NEW HOUSE
INTO A HOME

Not only older homes benefit from a makeover, this project was in a clients brand new 5 bedroomed detached house which I was commissioned to help turn into a home. Additional kitchen units and an island were installed along with concealed feature lighting in the new coving, a breakfast bar and new dining table, chairs, curtains and lighting were added to the kitchen diner. Bedrooms had furniture fitted and window dressings and other furnishings to most rooms.

The owner had already bought his lounge suite but hadn’t planned anything else to furnish the lounge so apart from sourcing the nest of tables and the lamps I had everything else made bespoke, downlights were fitted and put on dimmers and very deep coving was installed to give the room a more homely look.

In the master bedroom I had a run of wardrobes made which also house a large TV and which match some existing wardrobes in the dressing area. The coving was installed infront of the robes and form a pelmet along the window wall as in the lounge. I designed the bespoke superking bed with feature lighting.

One of the larger bedrooms is now being turned into a boys den / TV room and more finishing touches are being planned around the home.
